Grew up in a CPA practice in Los Angeles, so destiny was sealed. Family
also owned and operated a motel business at Disneyland. Lost count of number
of times she’s ridden the Matterhorn. Earned bachelor’s degree at
University of Southern California. Finished second master’s degree in
accounting at University of Colorado – Denver. Started her own practice
in the fall of 1994 to follow her business passion – working alongside
entrepreneurs, helping them grow and manage their businesses and their wealth.
Took the dot com roller coaster ride during 2000, partnering with a client to
develop and execute a business plan that went to the Big Time from Venture Capital
funding through the inevitable bankruptcy. Learned tons and had a blast. Works
with several non-profit boards and manages her family’s small private
foundation, which raises funding and gives to a variety of children’s
causes (give her a call to find out more). Enjoys her two horses, backyard wildlife,
family (Grandson Ian is now 4!) and cooking (because she does so little of it).
Learning Italian so that the next trip (coming soon?) will be more interactive
(it’s a control thing). Va bene!

Hails from the Chicago area (catch her accent) and is an AVID basketball
fan. Finished B.S. in Accounting at University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
Passed through California and New York on her way to Colorado. REALLY enjoys
doing tax returns, but handles accounting, payroll, and other tax issues as
well and keeps the practice on track as our Organization Maven. Helps clients
set up investment portfolios on Quicken, which is a great Internet-interactive
personal finance tool. Call her if you are resolved to get your investments
organized. Proud mom of 3 kids - 2 at University of Colorado – Boulder
and one grown and on his own, a biochemical researcher in the Chicago area.
Rounding out her life – lots of activities with family and friends, Bible
Study group, scrapbooking, distance walking, an occasional bike hike with her
husband. She has been in the practice since 1996.
Kathleen Bell, CPA

A Denver native! Completed degree in accounting from University
of Colorado – Denver. Following a stint as assistant controller for two
large companies, “came to her senses” and entered public accounting.
Has worked with Kathy since 1992 (Kathy and Kathleen worked together Pre-Zaffore
PC). A Peachtree Wizard -- through the trials and tribulations of setting up
and maintaining some challenging accounting environments, like manufacturing
with heavy inventory demands. A dynamite trainer, too, helping a number of our
clients get comfortable doing their own bookkeeping. Also works with QuickBooks
and Quicken (administrating investment portfolios for clients). Truly spoils
her pampered group of clients—everyone wants to work with Kathleen. Just
ask! Devoted to her 2 high schoolers and husband. Lives on the west side of
town for quick escapes to the mountains. Makes the best lemon bars anywhere.

Continues to work with many of our small business clients on payroll and bookkeeping issues, but also cleans up computer files, designs small business computer systems, sets up computers and ethernet networks, installs software, troubleshoots problems and provides training. And in her spare time, developed AllReports, which exports data from QuickBooks and Peachtree and puts it into graphically correct unemployment reports, W-2s, 940s and 1099s for the feds and many states, including Colorado. Outside of work, uses powertools for a plethora of home improvement projects, manages the lives of two daughters – one in high school and one in college
-- and a menagerie of interesting pets (including a tarantula and a pot bellied
pig!), while escaping to the mountains as often as she can sneak away from us.

Has been answering your calls with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to help
since 2003 and reigns over what could become chaos if left unchecked—can
you imagine how much paper we shuffle around over here? Even as we attempt to
go paperless. Handles the bookkeeping function for a number of our clients.
A Colorado native, grew up on a farm near Brush and reportedly knows the difference
between steers and cows—a Colorado country girl distinctive. Graduated
from Colorado State University with a degree in business administration. On
the “side,” oversees the lives of three teenagers (oh my!), the oldest is now attending CSU. What she does in her spare time….WHAT
spare time???

Has been working back office since 2008, tidying up after the various and sundry paper avalanches the rest of us create. Thank you!. Long time Parker resident – a familiar face in town. A banker for
many years and now, with husband Tom, owner of Alpha Gymnastics. Mom of two
grown 20-something children who are self supporting (she needs to write a how-to
book). Already a talented quilter, Marj never met a craft she didn’t want
to try.
